Daily Gratitude - November 6, 2017 - Mr. and Mrs. Frack

Today, while I was watching my daughter's mixed martial arts class, I decided who would be highlighted in my next blog post.

Mr. Frack and Miss Gigi have done so much for our daughter and our family. I know that our daughter would not be the same young lady she is if they were not in her life. They entered our lives in the Spring of 2012, just as Katherine was finishing Kindergarten. Her first belt ceremony was that June. Katherine's first sleep-over not with family was at one of their Ninja Nights. She has tried to attend each one ever since.

Thank you for the caring, support, and training you give our daughter. Thank you for the support you have given our whole family over the years as we have gone through the passing of my father-in-law and other trials and circumstances that have happened to us. Thank you also for your support and concern as I embarked on my own path to get healthier so I can be around for my wife and daughter longer.

Thank you for all you have done for us. There is no way we can ever repay your kindness.

Katherine in Kindergarten

Well Katherine has started Kindergarten. It is hard to believe she is in school. Soon it will be High School, then college. Too fast... it is going way too fast.

"Car go Boom!"

I went to lunch today with the Director of Human Resources. When I got back I noticed that there was a tow truck in front of my office. They were picking up my In-Laws' van. They had stopped by with my wife and daughter to say hello and visit it a bit.

Katherine told me what happened... "Car go boom!" A radiator hose busted.

Well I am riding the bus home today.

Katherine's Cooking

Yesterday, Katherine was watching me cook dinner. She had a plastic Folger's container with some small toys in it. She was stirring the "food" with a small sand shovel. When I added some frozen vegetables, she pulled a bag of Craisins from the refrigerator intent on adding it to her "food." She kept asking if it was hot. She would "taste" her creation and shared it with Mommy and me.

She had fun helping Daddy. She also "cooked" lunch today for Mommy.

Katherine Update

Katherine turned two in April. She also visited the Renaissance Pleasure Faire again. She looks so cute in her outfit that Auntie Myraya bought her.

Updates... Updates

Wow, I cannot believe that I have been away from this blog for almost 2 months. Things have been busy at home. The baby had a high fever over Super Bowl Weekend. It turned out to be roseola. Next month the baby will be One Year Old! I cannot believe it.

She is getting more mobile. Crawling about, Pulling herself up, standing on her own unsupported for a few seconds... she has yet to discover walking... but she is getting there.

More soon!

Welcome Baby Katherine

Katherine Elizabeth made her debut on April 20, 2006, at 8:14 am. She weighed 7 lbs, 12 oz and was 19 in. long. Although she spent a few days in a "baby-suntan machine" for jaundice, mother and baby are home doing just great!

Thanks to everyone for all the love, prayers and well wishes!

God has granted Margot and I a blessing that is immeasurable!
