Myspace.com is another teaching task for parents

In a reponse to a news article by his daughter, Mike Newcombe, Special to the Highland Community News wrote an opinion piece titled: One Dad’s Opinion: Myspace.com is another teaching task for parents. In the article, Mr. Newcobme states:

Myspace is no different than anything else that comes into our children's lives that may concern us. It is no different than the telephone, no different than driving, no different than new friends. It requires our attention and our common sense approach based on our values and principles to assist our children, as they get older. And most of all it demands our involvement.

Education more important than banning... Interesting concept. Let me know what you think.
